Who are you travelling with?
To really get to know a country’s culture, customs and hidden gems, you need to travel with an expert. Whichever destination you choose, our friendly, professional staff know their part of the world intimately. It can take a lifetime to get to know a place inside out, which is why we only employ Tour Managers with just such in-depth knowledge. Not only are our Tour Managers chosen for their local knowledge, they are also selected for their friendliness and approachability.
Jennifer Brown
Interests: I have a particular interest in geology, especially of west coast North America. I am also interested in theatre, having worked every winter at the Haymarket Theatre in Leicester as a dresser on major shows for the last 28 years. Another passion of mine is archaeology, and I have worked on several digs over the years.
What I think makes a Page & Moy holiday special: I think we get the balance right with the content of the tours – a good mixture of organised sightseeing and free time so that customers can explore independently. We concentrate on making our touring days interesting and fun, with plenty of leisure time so customers really feel that they have a full appreciation of the area.
Best memory of a Page & Moy tour: While there have been so many fantastic memories over the years, I think sitting in the dome car of the Trans-Canadian train waiting for our first distant glimpse of the Rockies is always exciting – even though I’ve done it 111 times, it’s still a magical moment.
Filomena Lima
Interests: I have a keen interest in history, particularly folklore and different cultures. I enjoy photography, and working for Page & Moy I have plenty of opportunity to take some stunning shots whilst on my travels.
What I think makes a Page & Moy holiday special: Page & Moy offer holidays covering a multitude of interests. They are not only fun but provide travellers with a real experience and a better understanding of a country’s culture.
Best memory of a Page & Moy tour: I will always remember a group I took to Chile, Argentina & Brazil two years ago. The sun shone the whole time we were there and we even enjoyed a temperature of 22 degrees as we crossed the Andes. The group really gelled well together and thoroughly enjoyed this fascinating part of the world.
Alan Dyer
Interests: I studied the 16th-century art history of Florence, Venice and Rome at university, and it continues to be a strong interest of mine. I also enjoy cooking, especially with fresh produce from the local market, yoga and football (with an Italian mother and English father I support both Roma and Queen’s Park Rangers).
What I think makes a Page & Moy holiday special: In my opinion the fact that each holiday is enjoyed by such like-minded people really does make a Page & Moy holiday special. The people in the groups get along so well and come away with new friends for life.
Best memory of a Page & Moy tour: Whilst on tour in Tuscany about four years ago I came across a classic cars meet. Hundreds of vehicles lined the main square including Fiats, Alfas and Bugatis. It was fantastic to see so much motoring history in one place and the group I was with really enjoyed it.
Maria Teresa Galea
Interests: I love reading and I am particularly keen on reading about ethnic cultures, historical biographies and renaissance art. In between working for Page & Moy I enjoy sailing, waterskiing and archaeology.
What I think makes a Page & Moy holiday special: The clients themselves make it special. They are all extremely interested in the countries they visit and want to learn and understand as much as possible while they are on holiday.
Best memory of a Page & Moy tour: It is very difficult to pick just one. I have very special memories of all my tours that will stay with me forever. The groups and the countries are all special for me.
