Ocean Majesty offers everything you need for a relaxing cruise. Take a dip in the pool or enjoy a work-out in the gym. If you like your exercise to be a little more sedate, then there’s nothing to beat simply taking a stroll on deck, enjoying the sea air.
You’ll find five bars and three lounges, all airconditioned, in which to relax and enjoy a drink over a chat including:
Observation Lounge – offering wonderful views and evening piano music
Bellini’s Bar – serving a wide selection of beers, wines or a pre-show cocktail or simply the chance to enjoy the scenery through the picture windows
Majestic Lounge – the entertainment heart of Ocean Majesty. During the day join various classes including dancing, keep fit, quizzes and so much more
Show Lounge – sit back and watch international cabaret artists and enjoy a drink or cocktail of your choice
Pool Bar – drinks served on deck throughout the day
Curl up with a good book from the ship’s library or why not join a few friends for a hand or two of cards in the library. Enjoy a spot of retail therapy in the shop or pamper yourself with a massage, sauna or a visit to the hairdressers. And if you want to stay in touch with events back home, there are PC’s available for you to surf the net or pick up your emails.
Onboard activities
We also offer a full programme of activities and demonstrations for you to enjoy during days at sea including talks from internationally renowned guest entertainers and speakers, culinary demonstrations, dance lessons to name but a few. Full details will be delivered to your cabin each evening.
Shore excursions
By taking advantage of the shore excursions, you can leave all the details of planning your route, arranging transport and finding your way around to the experts, which means you’re free to simply enjoy your visit to the fullest.
Excursions can take you ‘off the beaten track’, away from the more obvious tourist attractions to places that many people never get a chance to see. Wherever your excursion takes you, you’ll always be accompanied by an experienced and knowledgeable guide and usually an on-board team member. There is an extensive range of enjoyable and interesting excursions available on any particular cruise.
Variety & choice
Offering you choice is an important part of on-board catering. The menus are designed to give you a mouth-watering selection of dishes at all meals so there’s sure to be something to appeal. In common with most cruise ships, breakfast and lunch are normally open sittings and dinner is served at two sittings.
Special diets can generally be catered for – please advise us of your dietary needs well in advance to enable us to consider your request.
Elegant evenings
Evening is when the ship's restaurant is at its best. In a sophisticated setting you can savour traditional favourites, cosmopolitan specialities, fresh salads and sumptuous desserts accompanied by a carefully selected wine list at reasonable prices. So sit back and enjoy the delightful ambience, superb cuisine and personal service
Every evening is entertaining
There’s something magical about life on board a cruise ship in the evening. As well as dinner to look forward to, the evening is filled with opportunities to socialise over a drink, pre-show cocktail or the wine sommelier’s recommendation in one of the ship’s lounges.
After dinner, there’s a nightly programme of glittering entertainment – perhaps a cabaret, speciality acts and live music. After the show you can dance the night away, and for the real late owls, a late night snack will keep you going until morning.
Before retiring, take a stroll around the deck, watch the ship’s wake vanish into the night and contemplate tomorrow – another exciting day on your voyage of discovery.
