Tracy Martin is classed by many as the only ultra-modern expert in the collectables industry. She specialises in today’s current market but is also extremely knowledgeable about the industry as a whole – especially shoes, handbags, pottery and glass. She has appeared on live TV and radio and is a specialist collectables consultant for an auction house.
1 AUGUST - JANE ANNE DAVEY, NORWEGIAN EXPERT
Jane Davey’s linguistic and economic skills led to several marketing positions, before leaving to live in Norway for seven years. Initial work on a Mountain Health Farm and then as a translator for a major International Maritime Insurance underwriter in Oslo, provided Jane with a unique insight into the country and its people. Today her lectures on the Vikings, Norwegian history, geography and folklore are enthusiastically received by cruise ship audiences.

Ocean Majesty
All cabins are well-appointed and pleasantly furnished. Each cabin has its own private shower, washbasin and wc, telephone, satellite TV with film channel, three radio channels of entertainment and air-conditioning. Cabin categories J and K have DVD players and DVDs will be available for hire on board.
If you intend to make the most of the ship’s facilities and the shore excursions on offer, you may only need your cabin to be a base in which to settle at night. The most economical option is an inside two-bedded cabin, on Jade deck in category A. However, if you think you will want to spend more time in your cabin, you may want to pay a little more for an outside cabin with a window or porthole, or for a cabin on a higher deck. Categories D and E have a porthole, and all other categories have a larger window. A limited number of double beds are available in category I, and all category K cabins are double bedded. In some cabins in categories A, F, G, H, I, and J an additional upper berth is available, and an additional two upper berths in some cabins in categories A and G. In these, there will be a reduction of up to 60% for extra adults sharing a cabin with two full fare paying passengers – please ask our Holiday Advisors for further information.
Single cabins are available in categories D and E. Some twin cabins are also available for single occupancy in Categories A to I at a supplement of 75% on the prices shown in the price panels.
Whichever category you choose, everyone on board enjoys access to all the ship’s facilities, as well as the attentive service of a cabin steward who will see to your every need throughout the day – a level of service unique to cruising.

Your Itinerary
DAY 1 Harwich
Join the ship in Harwich and sett le in before our 5pm sailing.
DAY 2 Cruising
Perhaps enjoy a leisurely breakfast this morning as we sail north. During the day pamper yourself in the beauty salon; join one of the port lectures to learn about the fascinating places we’ll be visiting; and join new found friends for afternoon tea.
DAY 3 Olden
The pretty, timbered village of Olden, idyllically situated at the head of the Nordfjord, boasts breathtaking scenery. Europe’s most magnificent glacier, the Jostedal Glacier, can be seen from here, and its waters flow into another stunning sight – the Oldenvatn glacial lake which can be found just outside the village itself. Peaceful Olden is located in a valley, which means that as well as all the glacial beauty which defines the area, it is surrounded by picturesque mountains and lush vegetation – a stunning combination. While here, don’t miss a visit to the Briksdal Glacier on one of our excursions. You can also choose to experience more of the Nordfjord or take a boat trip on beautiful Lake Loen.
DAY 4 Molde & Andalsnes
Delightfully situated on the northern bank of the Moldefjord, Molde provided inspiration for Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytales and is known locally as the ‘Town of Roses’. The surrounding collection of mountains provides shelter and a temperate climate, encouraging the growth of the roses that would otherwise perish. Take an optional tour to learn how this town has been rebuilt twice in the last century. This afternoon, we reach Andalsnes, located at the head of the spectacular Romsdalfjord and on the banks of the River Rauma. You can follow the river on board the spectacular Rauma Railway on one of our optional excursions.
DAY 5 Bergen
Set on seven hills and known as the ‘Gateway to the Fjords’, the charming city of Bergen was once capital of Norway. It is a city steeped in history, and the most historic quarter, the Bryggen district, is just a short stroll from the ship. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you'll find a bustling market, and colourfully painted and gabled former warehouses that are now home to workshops, craft stores and friendly cafes. Shore excursions include a ride on the funicular up into the hills for a spectacular view over the city; a scenic countryside drive; or a visit to the home of Edvard Grieg at Troldhaugen.
DAY 6 Rosendal
The picturesque village of Rosendal is home to what is claimed to be the smallest castle in Norway – the Baroniet Rosendal. This 17th century manor house is set in delightful grounds, and is now open as a museum charting Norway's history under Danish rule.
DAY 7 Cruising
As our Norwegian adventure draws to a close, make sure you enjoy every minute of your last day on board.
DAY 8 Harwich
We disembark in Harwich this morning.

Make your own way and save up to £150 per person
You may want more flexibility to make your own travel arrangements to combine your trip with visits to friends and relatives or travel from an airport which we do not offer. Getting you there - Worldwide Holidays
To get your holiday off to a great start, we offer a range of transfer options with our compliments.

If you have booked a Worldwide holiday and live within a 250-mile drive of your departure airport, we will arrange for a taxi to pick you up from your door and take you to the airport, then drop you home on your return, with our compliments. Worldwide holidays include Asia, Australasia, Africa and North and South America, but exclude the Middle East and motor racing holidays.
2. FREE Connecting flights
If you live further than 250 miles from the airport, or if you prefer, you can opt to transfer to the main departure airport by a connecting flight from an airport closer to home (subject to availability).
