5 nights half board. The hotel is situated on the edge of the Umbrian Forest National Park in quiet countryside just eight kilometres from Vieste. Set in its own private gardens it offers a restaurant, piano bar, lovely outdoor pool with sun terrace and a superb beauty and fitness centre with an indoor pool. A shuttle bus service is also available to the nearby beach.

A Different View of Apulia
Due to unprecedented demand we have managed to secure additional capacity on a selection of dates in 2010. Your included excursions from Apulia are as follows: Lecce; the Trulli towns of Alberobello; Locorotondo & Martina Franca; and Ostuni.
Day 1 UK/Bari We fly to Bari and transfer to Selva di Fasano, on the western coast of Italy’s heel, for four nights on a half board basis.
Days 2 – 4 Apulia Apulia is an area still relatively unexplored by tourists, and your stay in Selva di Fasano offers the opportunity to explore the region from a different viewpoint. Three excursions are included during your stay here:
Lecce (¾ day) a relatively unexplored town, Lecce’s extravagant baroque architecture has earned it the name of ‘Florence of Apulia’. its origins go back millennia, and the grand amphitheatre testifies to the important role played by Lecce in roman times. its other main sight is the exuberant baroque Church of Santa Croce.
Alberobello, Locorotonda & Martina Franca (¾ day) we journey north, passing through the evocative Apulian landscape and looking forward to what is certain to be a highlight of our holiday, a visit to Alberobello with its beguiling profusion of cylindrical, beehive-style houses. From Alberobello we continue to the historic towns of Locorotonda, with its round centre, and Martina Franca, where you will find a stunning blend of baroque architecture and a distinct Moorish feel.
Ostuni (half day) Known as the ‘white City’ because of its sparkling white buildings, Ostuni is a jewel in Apulia’s crown. The old town of Ostuni perches high on a hill overlooking the surrounding town and stunning countryside lined with olive groves.
Day 5 Vieste our journey continues to the Gargano peninsula, a high rocky spur jutting into the Adriatic Sea. The scenery is beautiful as the road hugs the dramatic coastline en route to Vieste, our base for the next five nights.
Days 6 – 9 Vieste The tiny town of Vieste is tucked between two sickle-shaped beaches on the eastern flank of Gargano. we have included the following excursions:
Vieste & Peschici (¾ day) enjoy a visit to two of the most beautiful small towns on the Gargano – nearby Vieste itself and Peschici, just 30 minutes away on the northern coast.
Monte Sant’Angelo (half day) Monte Sant’Angelo is home to perhaps the most famous shrine in the Latin west, dedicated to archangel Saint Michael. according to legend, he appeared here in ad 490 and left a footprint in a cavern, which is now venerated all year round by pilgrims.
You may also wish to join our optional excursions: Umbran Forest (half day) enjoy a walk through the famous Umbran Forest, a vast woodland of beech, oak, yew and pine, which lies to the east of Vieste. we also enjoy a delicious picnic under the shade of the trees.
Boat cruise (half day) we spend an enjoyable few hours visiting the beaches, grottoes, stunning rock formations and tiny coves along the coast.
Day 10 Bari/UK we transfer to Bari airport for the homeward flight.

Regional connecting flights to London from only £69
If you can’t fly direct to your destination from your local airport (see individual holiday details), usually you will have the choice of taking a regional connecting flight to Heathrow or Gatwick from as little as £69 per person return. If your connecting flight and your flight from Gatwick or Heathrow is with British Airways or British Midland, your luggage will automatically be checked through to your final destination, so there’s no need to collect or check your luggage in twice.

Make your own way and save up to £150 per person
You may want more flexibility to make your own travel arrangements to combine your trip with visits to friends and relatives or travel from an airport which we do not offer. If so, why not take advantage of our make your own way option. We offer a reduction of £150 off many of our holidays to allow you to make your own arrangements, if that is what you want. Getting you there - Worldwide Holidays
To get your holiday off to a great start, we offer a range of transfer options with our compliments.

1. Experience door-to-door travel with Page & Moy (2009 departures only)
If you live within a 250-mile drive of your departure airport, we will arrange for a taxi to pick you up from your door and take you to the airport, and drop you home on your return, with our compliments.
2. FREE Connecting flights
If you live further than 250 miles from the airport, or if you prefer, you can opt to transfer to the main departure airport by a connecting flight from an airport closer to home (subject to availability).
3. FREE National Express coach travel
Alternatively, why not choose coach travel on the extensive national express network, with over 1,200 collection points nationwide. What’s more, we’ll pay for your ticket!
