Accommodation in Oberammergau will be in a good standard of hotel (category HC1), either in Oberammergau village itself or nearby.

The hotel is situated just 50 yards from the lakeside and is only a ten-minute walk along the lakeside promenade from the centre of Riva del Garda. The comfortable bedrooms are decorated in either classic or contemporary style and offer satellite TV, telephone, air-conditioning and a safe. Hotel facilities include a bar, restaurant, garden, and wellness centre (extra charge) with a sauna, Turkish bath, indoor swimming pool and outdoor Jacuzzi.

Situated in a particularly quiet position near the lakeside in Riva del Garda, this modern hotel is furnished in a contemporary style. The comfortable rooms have satellite TV, telephone, air-conditioning and a safe. Hotel facilities include a bar, restaurant, garden, outdoor pool and solarium.
Your Itinerary
DAY 1 UK/Munich
We fly to Munich and transfer to Oberammergau for a two-night stay. Dinner tonight will be enjoyed in a local restaurant.
DAY 2 Oberammergau
We enjoy some free time this morning. Explore the village or take a look inside the Oberammergau Museum, entrance included. After an included lunch we take our seats at the Passion Play. There is a break for dinner, when we enjoy a three-course meal, and then the play continues into the evening.
DAY 3 Riva del Garda
We leave delightful Oberammergau behind today and head through some spectacular scenery into the Italian Lake District, where we stay in the resort of Riva del Garda on Lake Garda for five nights.
DAY 4 Verona
Enjoy our included excursion to Verona today. This delightful city was the setting for Romeo and Juliet and is home to a fine Roman arena. We take a walk around the city in the company of a local guide, before free time for you to relax or explore at your own pace. One of Italy’s most beautiful and historic cities, there is so much to see and do here, from the ornate fountains of the Piazza Bra to the magnificent Roman Arena – the third largest in the world.
DAY 5 Riva del Garda
Today is at leisure for you to make your own discoveries in these delightful surroundings or join our optional full-day tour of the lake. Travel by both boat and coach as you visit some of the most attractive resorts around the lake, such as Malcesine and Bardolino.
DAY 6 Trentino
Today is at leisure, or why not join our optional excursion to Trentino, located to the north of Lake Garda. Known for its wines, this lovely region is also home to some beautiful castles. Enjoy lunch and a wine tasting in one of the castles.
DAY 7 Riva del Garda
More free time today to further explore this glorious region.
DAY 8 Milan/UK
We transfer to Milan airport for our return flight to the UK.

Regional connecting flights to London from only £69
If you can’t fly direct to your destination from your local airport (see individual holiday details), usually you will have the choice of taking a regional connecting flight to Heathrow or Gatwick from as little as £69 per person return. If your connecting flight and your flight from Gatwick or Heathrow is with British Airways or British Midland, your luggage will automatically be checked through to your final destination, so there’s no need to collect or check your luggage in twice.

Make your own way and save up to £150 per person

Getting you there - Worldwide Holidays

1. Experience door-to-door travel with Page & Moy (2009 departures only)
If you live within a 250-mile drive of your departure airport, we will arrange for a taxi to pick you up from your door and take you to the airport, and drop you home on your return, with our compliments.

If you live further than 250 miles from the airport, or if you prefer, you can opt to transfer to the main departure airport by a connecting flight from an airport closer to home (subject to availability).
