Your Itinerary

DAY 1 UK

Fly from Heathrow to Hong Kong.

DAY 2 Hong Kong

We arrive in Hong Kong and transfer to our hotel for a two-night stay. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore independently. Hong Kong, situated in a magnificent setting on the tip of the Chinese mainland, is a natural gateway to the Orient and is a vibrant and colourful city of dramatic contrasts. Towering landscapes form the backdrop to the busy harbour, while street markets remain untouched by western influences and still provide a taste of mystique.

DAY 3 Hong Kong

Today we enjoy an included tour of Hong Kong with an official guide, who shows us the highlights of this fantastic city, from Victoria Peak to the incredible fishing village of Repulse Bay, famous for its floating community of more than 30,000 people.

DAY 4 Hong Kong

Enjoy more free time in Hong Kong this morning before our afternoon transfer to Costa Classica to begin our 14-night cruise.

DAY 5

Cruising at sea.

DAY 6 Manila, Philippines

Arrive 0900 – Depart 1900
Situated on the banks of the Pasig River, Manila is a city of historic and modern contrasts. Revel in the mix of Spanish and Chinese influences that create a fascinating blend of splendid museums, churches and parks.

DAY 7

Cruising at sea.

DAY 8 Kota Kinabalu, Borneo

Arrive 0800 – Depart 1800
Discover the markets and temples of this spellbinding city in the shadow of Mount Kinabalu. The area is known for its amazing variety of wildlife, birds, butterflies and incredibly rare orchids. Marvel at the Buddhist Temple and take in the magnificent views from the peak of Signal Hill on your full day here.

DAY 9 Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei

Arrive 0800 – Depart 1400
Brunei’s capital offers the impressive Omar Saifuddin Mosque, the Royal Regalia Building, which plays host to the Sultan’s incredible official wardrobe, and the water village of Kampung Ayer.

DAY 10

Cruising at sea.

DAY 11 Singapore

Arrive 0800 – Depart 1900
Known as the ‘Garden City’, Singapore offers a fascinating insight into the dignity of the old colonial days, mixed with fast developing and futuristic commercial enterprise. It is famous for its shops and bazaars, all with duty free prices. The city itself is compact, where you can explore the narrow streets, quiet squares or the frenzied activity in the harbour area. Singapore is a mix of cultures, including Indian, Chinese and Malay, and the architecture, with its array of mosques, temples and synagogues, reflects that. Make sure you visit Little India and Chinatown and of course no visit to Singapore would be complete without tea at Raffles.

DAY 12

Cruising at sea.

DAY 13 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Arrive 0800 – Depart 1630
Better known as Saigon, this booming metropolis is a city of amazing contrasts, combining its French colonial past with a predominantly Buddhist culture. Visit the Presidential Palace, History Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral.

DAY 14

Cruising at sea.

DAY 15 Da Nang, Vietnam

Arrive 0800 – Depart 1900
Da Nang is a major port on the South China Sea. Visit the Champa Museum and the ancient pagodas of Hai Chau Pho Da Long Tho to discover the incredible artistic glories of the Cham people, created between the 7th and 15th centuries.

DAY 16 Sanya, Hainan Island, China

Arrive 0700 – Depart 1400
With its picturesque tropical landscapes and countless hot springs, Hainan Island is the ideal place to relax.

DAY 17 Hong Kong

Arrive 1400
Return to this vibrant city and spend the afternoon exploring at your leisure.

DAY 18 Hong Kong

Transfer to the airport for the return flight to the UK.
