Oberammergau's Legendary Passion Play 2010

In 1632, the villagers of Oberammergau, a small town in Bavaria, made a vow: if they were spared from the Black Death, they would perform a play every 10 years to commemorate the life and death of Jesus Christ. The town was spared and the play has been performed ever since.
The next event in 2010 will take place between May and October. We will be offering two options: five nights in Kitzbuhel, staying at the four-star Hotel Tiefenbrunner, plus two nights in Oberammergau; or five nights in Lake Garda plus two nights in Oberammergau.
