Ocean Majesty

All cabins are well-appointed and pleasantly furnished. Each cabin has its own private shower, washbasin and wc, telephone, satellite TV with film channel, three radio channels of entertainment and air-conditioning. Cabin categories J and K have DVD players and DVDs will be available for hire on board.
If you intend to make the most of the ship’s facilities and the shore excursions on offer, you may only need your cabin to be a base in which to settle at night. The most economical option is an inside two-bedded cabin, on Jade deck in category A. However, if you think you will want to spend more time in your cabin, you may want to pay a little more for an outside cabin with a window or porthole, or for a cabin on a higher deck. Categories D and E have a porthole, and all other categories have a larger window. A limited number of double beds are available in category I, and all category K cabins are double bedded. In some cabins in categories A, F, G, H, I, and J an additional upper berth is available, and an additional two upper berths in some cabins in categories A and G. In these, there will be a reduction of up to 60% for extra adults sharing a cabin with two full fare paying passengers – please ask our Holiday Advisors for further information.
Single cabins are available in categories D and E. Some twin cabins are also available for single occupancy in Categories A to I at a supplement of 75% on the prices shown in the price panels.
Whichever category you choose, everyone on board enjoys access to all the ship’s facilities, as well as the attentive service of a cabin steward who will see to your every need throughout the day – a level of service unique to cruising.
Please note A supplement of £25 per person is payable if you wish to choose a particular cabin number.

DAY 2 Dublin
Occupying a beautiful location spread out along the banks of the River Liffey, Dublin boasts the largest concentration of Georgian architecture in the world. Shore excursions include a fascinating city tour visiting Trinity College to see the Book of Kells, an illuminated manuscript believed to be the work of the monks of Iona who fled to Kells in AD806 and the famous 65-metre Long Room, home to more than 200,000 ancient books.
DAY 3 Fowey
The pretty port of Fowey is quintessentially Cornish and our anchorage here, with the town on one side of the deep-water estuary and the village of Polruan on the other, is breathtakingly beautiful. Neat terraces cascade down towards the busy harbour. The area is associated with writer Daphne du Maurier, and an exhibition of her work can be found in the town centre. There will also be the opportunity to join our shore excursion to the Eden Project, an unforgettable experience in a breathtaking location covering 35 acres. Here, massive biomes, similar to giant conservatories, house plants from all over the world.
DAY 4 Cruising
Enjoy the on-board facilities as we head towards Rouen in northwest France.
DAY 5 Rouen
The capital city of Normandy on the River Seine was once one of the largest and most prosperous cities in mediaeval Europe. Steeped in history, Rouen surrendered to Henry V in 1419 and came under English sovereignty for the next thirty years; Joan of Arc was burned at the stake in Market Square in 1431; and under Nazi occupation, the German Navy had its headquarters in a local chateau during World World 11. On our fascinating shore excursions take a stroll around the colourful timber framed houses in the town’s lovely old quarter and visit the splendid Gothic Notre Dame Cathedral, adorned with sculptures and magnificent stained glass windows; explore Claude Monet’s famous house and gardens at Giverny; or discover the highlights of Paris and take a delightful cruise along the Seine.
DAY 6 Cruising
Spend a leisurely day on board as we sail towards Nantes.
DAY 7 Nantes
A cruise up the Loire river carries us to the historic port of Nantes, a centre of culture and influence in Brittany throughout the ages. It was here that King Henry 1V of France signed the famous Treaty of Nantes in 1598 and the magnificent Chateau des Ducs de Bretagne presides over the city centre. Take a stroll around the splendid Jardin des Plantes and along the charming cobbled streets of Bouffay, the mediaeval quarter. Visit the beautifully restored Gothic Cathedral of St. Pierre and St Paul and hidden treasures in the great museums, or browse in the designer shops around the Rue de Crébillon. Enjoy an optional sightseeing tour of the city, or an optional trip to the chic seaside resort of La Baule and the historic Guérande Peninsula.
DAY 8 Bordeaux
This important port city overlooking the Garonne in the southwest of France was recently declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a tribute to the lovely 18th century architecture from the Golden Age of Bordeaux. The region became an important part of the English realm, when Henry 11 married Eleanor of Aquitaine and is synonymous with a flourishing wine trade that dates back to the 8th century. An optional walking tour of the Old Quarter will take you past the splendid Grand Theatre, the Place De La Bourse, the former royal palace, and many more monuments bearing testament to the town’s turbulent past.
DAY 9 Bordeaux
Free to explore further at your own pace or join optional visits to enjoy wine tastings at the famous chateaux of the Medoc region and the St Emilion vineyard.
DAY 10 Brest
Located on the western tip of the Brittany peninsula, Brest is an import port and naval base. During World War 11 the Germans held a large submarine base here, which was destroyed at the end of the war. Brest is home to several museums and an aquarium, and just a few kilometres outside the city you can find sandy beaches, grottos and tall granite cliffs.
